How to get admission in ARMY MEDICAL COLLEGE (AMC)?

There are three ways to get admission in Army Medical College AMC.

1. ->Medical Cadets (MC)
2. ->NUMS Cadets (NC)
3. ->Paying Cadets (PC)

There is a difference between these cadet courses in AMC Rawalpindi depending upon the Selection procedure, Annual Fee structure, and type of commission in the PAK Army after completing MBBS/BDS at AMC Rawalpindi. Here we will discuss details about the above-mentioned Cadet’s admission and selection procedure in AMC Rawalpindi.

Two Types of Tests are offered for MBBS/BDS admission in AMC Rawalpindi.

1. ->Medical Cadets MC Test (According to Army Selection Procedure)

2. ->Nums Entry Test (Both for NUMS Cadets and Paying Cadets)

🎯AMC ENTRY TEST FOR MEDICAL CADETS (MC)

☆ Only Boys can Apply for Medical Cadets (MC)
☆ MC are military cadets who got commissioned in the PAK Army as captain doctors after the competition of MBBS/BDS there is no annual and semester fee for MC. For eligibility criteria and more details visit www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
☆To apply for MC, you must register online at joinpakarmy.gov.pk or visit the Army Selection Center.
The registration starts every year in June/July. This time it is going to be started from 26th June to 21st July 2024.
☆There will be a computerized Initial AMC Test, an Initial Medical Test, and a Physical Test. After the initial procedure selected candidates will receive ISSB Call Latter for personality tests and Interviews.
☆ All Male students can apply For Medical Cadets (MC) civilian as well as Armed Forces Families.

🎯 NUMS CADETS (NC)

☆ NUMS Cadets are civilian cadets at Army Medical College (AMC) Rawalpindi. They don’t get commission directly after MBBS/BDS.

If NUMS Cadets (NC) want to join the Pak Army as a captain doctor. They can join the PAK Army by GDMO and GDDO Courses after completion of their MBBS.
☆ Both Boys and Girls and can Apply for NC seats in AMC Rawalpindi.
☆ NUMS TEST registration for this year was open from 20 June to 10th July 2024 with a normal fee, you can still apply with a late fee till 24 July 2024

Step-by-step process for admission in AMC as a Nums Cadet (NC):
-> #1st appears in the NUMS Entry Test 2024 which will be held on the 1st of September 2024,
And then After the announcement of NUMS Results,

2nd You will have to apply online for MBBS/BDS Admissions on the NUMS official website again (and if you are wondering, when will this NUMS MBBS/BDS Admission portal open, then don’t worry there will be an official advertisement on nums official website and also we will update about it too on our website and social media pages)

->Remember the above 1st and 2nd points to appear for the NUMS Test and after the announcement of the NUMS result apply for MBBS/BDS in AMC.
->Final selection made on the aggregate of 10% matric, 40% FSC, and 50% from the NUMS Entry Test. Most probably it will be the same for this year too

🎯 AMC ENTRY TEST FOR PAYING CADETS (PC) & ADDITIONAL SELECTED CADETS (ASC)

☆Only Armed Forces Families (PAK Army, Navy, PAF or Civ.Def.Paid) can apply for paying cadets seats in AMC Rawalpindi
->PC students are also like MC, But the only difference is that PCs have to pay fees during MBBS/BDS at AMC.
->MC doesn’t pay any fee while the annual fee for Paying Cadet is less than NUMS Cadet (NC) (Almost half of the NC fee).
->PC also gets a commission in PAK Army like MC after competition of MBBS/BDS in AMC Rawalpindi.
->If a candidate from the Armed Forces Family wants to apply for a PC seat.
-> #1st Apply for the NUMS Entry Test after the announcement of the NUMS Result.
-> #2nd get the “PC form” from GHQ, NHQ, AHQ from the concerned department, fill that form, and send it back to GHQ, AHQ, NHQ depending upon your guardian’s belongings Force.
3rd Apply Online for nums admission for MBBS/BDS.
